Twinkle Dental is a team of experienced and caring professionals dedicated to providing quality yet affordable dental services to families in Tampines, Pasir Ris and eastern Singapore.

With their warm and personal approach, our team of friendly dentists and staff work passionately towards making dental visits a pleasant experience for you and your family.

Dr. Ozy Ong

Clinical Director | B.Dent (Sydney)

Dr. Ozy Ong graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Dentistry (B.Dent). Known for his patience and his meticulous demeanour, he has vast experience in managing patients in pain. Dr. Ong is also an empathetic and gentle dentist. He places his patients’ needs as his main priority, and seeks to provide a comfortable and pain-free experience for his patients.

Dr. Ong has a keen interest in orthodontics (braces), dental implants and endodontics (root canal treatment). He is a firm believer in continuous education and likes to keep himself updated by attending numerous courses related to braces, implants and other aspects of dentistry. Notably, when it comes to treating his patients with braces, he subscribes to the “Full Face Philosophy”, where the patient’s facial profile is also taken into account during treatment to produce not just straighter teeth, but also a pleasant facial appearance and optimum airway space.

He is a member of the Aesthetic Dental Society of Singapore and the College of General Dental Practitioners. He is fully registered with the Singapore Dental Council, and is also registered with the Dental Board of Australia.

Always keen to help the less privileged, Dr. Ong volunteered to serve in Dubbo, Australia, as part of the Royal Doctor Flying Services. There, he provided free dental services to the Aborigines living in these remote areas. He was also involved in community projects in Kerala, India, during his undergraduate years.

Dr. Irene Leong

Dental Surgeon | B.D.S. (Singapore)

Dr. Irene Leong graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor in Dental Surgery (BDS) in 2010. During her undergraduate years, she made the Dean’s List for her third professional examinations, and was also awarded the “TP Dental Surgeons’ Gold Medal” for best all-round final year student.

Since graduation, Dr. Irene has worked both in the public sector as well in private practice. During her bond with the Ministry of Health, she worked in a number of public institutions, including the National Dental Centre, Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, the Institute of Mental Health and the Health Promotion Board’s School Dental Services. Prior to joining Twinkle, she practiced for 6 years at Lee & Lee Dental Surgeons. She is currently working in partnership with National Dental Centre Singapore (NDCS) under their Care Partner Programme (CaPP) to provide general dental services and regular maintenance to former patients from NDCS.

Dr. Irene is a passionate and compassionate dentist who enjoys her work tremendously and firmly believes in placing herself in her patients’ shoes, or rather, in the dental chair, hence she endeavors to make her patients’ visit as comfortable and pleasant as possible.

Dr. Irene is fully registered with Singapore Dental Council, and is also a member of the College of General Dental Practitioners and the Aesthetic Dental Society of Singapore.

Dr. Shaun Quek

Dental Surgeon | B.D.S. (Singapore)
Graduate Diploma in Implantology (Singapore)

Dr Shaun Quek graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2010. He was on the Dean’s list for his final professional examinations and was also awarded the “SEA Association for Dental Education (SEAADE) Prize” for being the Best Student in Endodontics. In 2015, Dr Quek’s keen interest in dental implants led him to further his studies in NUS, and he graduated with a Post-Graduate Diploma in Dental Implantology in 2017.

A great smile is truly transformative as it builds one’s confidence, and that is what Dr Quek endeavours to give every patient that walks through his door. His passion for his craft has led to many success stories of Dr Quek helping his patients to achieve their desired aesthetic outcomes.

Dr Quek has keen interests in muti aspects of dentistry, including aesthetic & cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics (braces), endodontics (root canal treatment), prosthodontics (crowns, bridges & veneers), dental implant and oral surgery. He is fully registered with the Singapore Dental Council, and a member of the Singapore Dental Association, the Aesthetic Dentistry Society Singapore and the College of General Dental Practitioners.

Dr. Elyssa Chan

Dental Surgeon | B.D.S. (Honours) (Ireland)

Dr. Elyssa Chan graduated from University College Cork, Ireland with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery, with Honours. Dr. Elyssa has always held herself to the highest standards and was awarded the DMI Ltd Award in Oral Surgery and the Irish Dental Council Prize in Prosthetic Dentistry during her undergraduate years.

An empathetic and professional dentist, Dr. Elyssa firmly believes in treating patients with the utmost care and strives to provide the most effective treatment with a pain-free experience, as much as possible. Dr. Elyssa is also passionate about helping those who are less fortunate. During her undergraduate years, she joined a team to Mae Sai, Thailand, to provide dental treatment to orphaned children. While serving in the Malaysian public sector, Dr. Elyssa also organised many events providing free dental treatment as well as oral health education to low-income families, elderly care homes, as well as to the Malaysian indigenous communities living in rural areas.

Prior to joining Twinkle, Dr. Elyssa was practicing in the Malaysia where she gained valuable experience in treating varied groups of patients, including infants, children, people with special needs and the elderly. Dr. Elyssa is currently registered to practice with the Irish Dental Council, Malaysian Dental Council and the Singapore Dental Council, and is also a member of the College of General Dental Practitioners.

Dr. Yan Xiaomeng

Dental Surgeon | B.D.S. (Singapore)

Dr Yan Xiaomeng graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. Her professional journey after graduation includes roles across various public healthcare institutions. Dr Yan gained invaluable expertise in the management of paediatric patients during her time in the Health Promotion Board as well as in the School Dental Services. She also obtained crucial experience when she worked at Ang Mo Kio Polyclinic and National Dental Centre and brings a keen eye for detail and a refined skillset to her clinical practice.

Dr Yan has a gentle and compassionate demeanor and aims to foster a supportive atmosphere for all her patients. She is driven by a proactive and preventive approach to oral health and dedicated to the improvement of comprehensive patient well-being over treating isolated dental issues.

Beyond local practice, Dr Yan also volunteers for overseas mission trips where she extends her dental expertise to serve underprivileged communities in need.

She is fully registered with the Singapore Dental Council, and is a member of the Singapore Dental Association and the College of General Dental Practitioners.
